Passing Over Net
Tactical Problem:  bumping ball over net to target area
Skill development:  increasing forearm pass skills, height and accuracy
Objective is lots of touches
tactics:
  • hits ball high and accurate giving time for partner to react
Cues:
  • bend knees
  • arms extended, flat platform
  • use legs for power, and arms for direction
Simlify:
  • throw ball to partner (not consecutive hits)
  • let ball bounce first
  • lower height of net
Extensions
  • move partner side to side, back and forth
  • bump to self, volley over
